The advantage is that after a day on the slopes, you can comfortably return to the warmth of the cottage without lengthy transfers.
During the summer months, Malinô Brdo becomes a popular destination for cyclists and mountain biking enthusiasts. Here you’ll find a bike park with trails of varying difficulty levels, as well as cycling routes winding through the beautiful nature of the Veľká Fatra Mountains. If you’re an active biker, Májekova Chata is the perfect place to set off directly into the terrain.
The Great Fatra is one of Slovakia’s most beautiful hiking regions, and Májekova Chalet is a great starting point for a variety of excursions. Right from the chalet, you can set out on shorter walks or full-day hikes through mountain meadows, forests, and panoramic ridge trails offering stunning views. This well-preserved mountain village offers a unique glimpse into the traditional way of life and architecture of our ancestors and is an ideal destination for families and history buffs alike.

The cable car, family park, easy hiking trails, and seasonal attractions offer plenty of opportunities for active family time in nature. Another popular stop is the Sidorovo Mini Farm, where animal lovers of all ages will find something to enjoy. We also recommend the Medvedia cesta nature trail in Hrabovská Valley for families, which combines exercise, exploration, and fun in a playful way.
